The Hotel Villa Liana is situated in an antique villa dating from the 19th century, that used to house the British consulate in the years when Florence was the capitol of Italy. The hotel is placed in a tranquil street in the centre of Florence, ten minutes walk from the Dome and 15 minutes from Fortezza da Basso, Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria.
From here various routes Irradiate that brings you to the most elegant areas of Florence. Close to here you will find the romantic gardens so estimated by the English and Americans. The Botanic gardens, founded in 1545, is complete of full-grown trees and vegetable spicies in the flowerbeds, in this garden known as "Il giardino dei Simplici". The Monastery of Saint Marco collects the most important works of Beato Angelico. Close by are also the Piazza SS. Annunziata, famous renaissance square, The archaeological museum; the Hebrew synagogue and the Hebrew cemetery. |

By car (Highway A1)
Exit at Firenze-Certosa
Turn right, following the blue signs for “Impruneta”
After 1 km (0.6 miles), at the first intersection, turn left
Pass through the main square of the little town of Tavarnuzze and continue towards Impruneta (the street goes up a hill), after just 5 km (3 miles) you will arrive in Impruneta; the Bellavista is in the main square.
By Train
From Santa Maria Novella railway station in Florence, after descending from the train, with the tracks behind you, exit on the left side of the railway station passing through the ‘turnstiles’ near the pharmacy and the McDonald’s restaurant.
Outside the station, cross the street at the signal and then turn right, walk for about 50 meters and then turn left at the first street which is Largo Alinari
After about 20 meters, you will see the CAP bus stop on the left side of the street (the buses, as well as the signs at the stop, are blue and white with indication “Impruneta-Via Bagnolo” or “Impruneta-Pozzolatico”).
It should take about thirty minutes to arrive to the main square of Impruneta and in front of the Bellavista.
From Florence airport

“Il Cerretino” consists of five apartments which were originally old barns, all situated near a mansion house or villa padronale, whose origins were lost long ago (the first records of the area date back to the 9th and 10th centuries). The expert restructuring has managed to maintain the original, rural Tuscan style characterized by wooden beams, tiled terracotta floors and stone walls all of which create a fascinating charm for anyone spending time there. All the apartments have been designed with classic simplicity and good taste. Each has an independent entrance hall, a living room, a cooking corner, a master bedroom and bathroom. There is also ample space outdoors complete with chairs and tables for those who enjoy dining in the lush, green countryside.
A village that dates back to the end of the 8th century, Cerretino has been completely restructured with apartments with a panoramic view over Florence. Within 15 minutes by car you are 400metres above sea level surrounded by hills adorned in olive trees, horse chestnut and oak tree forests. The village is connected to the farm “Il Cerretino” which breeds cattle (a breed known as “The Big White”) and produces extra-virgin olive oil with its own unmistakable fragrance and flavour. |

I am a young man from Salento who moved up to Florence to attend university.
With time I came to love the art and life that Florence offers daily, all year round, and I decided to stay here. I like socializing, meeting new people, and discovering cultures and philosophies of life different from mine.
Thus I have decided to open B&B Leopoldo, thanks to the constant support of my good friend Vincenzo. In my Bed & Breakfast you really feel at home; I will welcome you personally and do all I can to make you feel comfortable.
My place is a few minutes from the city centre, just around the corner from an important intersection, Piazza Leopoldo, easily reached by car from the motorway exit Firenze Nord/Ovest.
I have looked after the furnishing of each room with an eye for detail. All bedrooms are noise-free, and each one has a private bathroom and TV. For my guests, I provide a set of towels, soap, shampoo and a shower cap.
Breakfast is served from 8 to 10 a.m. in an airy and spacious living room, with armchairs, TV, a beverage dispenser and magazines for relaxing in your free time. You may also connect to the wireless internet free of charge.
We can provide a parking place for our guests for 15 euro per night (instead of the usual 20-30 in this area).
For lunch and dinner you can enjoy typical Tuscan food and delicious pizza in the many restaurants and pizzerias in the neighborhood. You can order take away meals to enjoy here, or even cook for yourself in my well-equipped kitchen.
